Relationship Between Domestic Violence in Pregnancy and Maternal Fetus Attachment

Background: Attachment between mother and fetus plays an important role in maternal identity, birth outcomes, growth, development of a newborn. In addition, domestic violence, especially pregnancy, has been regarded as health priority many societies. Objectives: The study aimed to assess the relationship violence pregnancy attachment. Methods: This descriptive correlational was conducted on 200 pregnant mothers visiting selected Healthcare Centers Mashhad. questionnaires were demographic information, Straus Violence Questionnaire Cranley’s Mother-Fetus Questionnaire. Data analyzed using correlation coefficient linear regression tests well SPSS v.21 software. Results: Here, 54% members had experienced violence. general, there reversed significant all aspects mother-fetus Moreover, 89% research centers reported fetal attachment good, 10% average, 1% weak. Based test, physical able predict variance score 4.14% mothers. Conclusions: As result this article, regarding lower maternal-fetal violated women much more sensitive screening should be considered for so that adverse outcomes are prohibited.
